30 and counting

Rainy day project:

In one trip to Taiwan, Matt has met about 30 of my relatives. (Zoom around the Prezi below to see them.) On the plane trip over here, I went over this family tree and might have overwhelmed him a little. But now, I am impressed that he can call each by his/her specific title in Taiwanese (approximate spelling in parentheses below). They all love Matt, too -- who wouldn't? I am proud to introduce him as my husband and to show him the beautiful country of Taiwan.

Ecology studies the interrelationship between organisms and their environment. It originates from the German word okologie, first used in 1873.

This blog documents one organism's interactions with her environment.
What would be the hope of being personally whole in a dismembered society, or personally healthy in a landscape scalped, scraped, eroded, and poisoned, or personally free in a land entirely controlled by the government [or corporations], or personally enlightened in an age illuminated only by TV? - Wendell Berry
