a hat from my uncle

My family has always been staunch supporters of Taiwan's independence. Really, though, independence is not the issue any more: In every respect (e.g. government, economy) she already is completely separate from China. Recognition is the issue -- and not for a "Republic of China" either. For more info, see the UN for Taiwan campaign.
