recently acquired perspective

30 isn't the new 20. I actually like being older and the respect - and a little admiration - that comes with being older. The adventure ahead is morphing, and it took me a while to see that, but I'm looking forward to the new kind of adventure. It's no longer a flirtation or about trying new, crazier things all the time or giving all your energy to a cause, and I have no regret. I see the new adventure as an unfurling of something -- emotional, intellectual, with a soul mate, a shaping of an ideal life.

Ecology studies the interrelationship between organisms and their environment. It originates from the German word okologie, first used in 1873.

This blog documents one organism's interactions with her environment.
