Day 149: Measured for bench cushions and door curtain, drilled hole for stove gas pipe, cemented kitchen drain pipe, bought drain fittings, sanded the floor drain so it would fit in the mop service basin,

bought foam,

glued foam pieces together for loft mattress.

Day 148: Put away belongings,

installed shower walls,
cut and nailed moulding behind the refrigerator.

Day 147: Moved remainder of belongings into tiny house.

That night, Ashley and Elliott and neighbors Kelly and Jeff came over for the inaugural party.

and the second coat for the bench and ottoman,
loaded the car with our scrap wood, zip panels, plywood, metal roof, ripped tarps, old steps, etc.

and so the ladder can reach the bookshelf.
I organized our tools and supplies and brushed on a coat of poly on the furniture and loft underside.

Ecology studies the interrelationship between organisms and their environment. It originates from the German word okologie, first used in 1873.

This blog documents one organism's interactions with her environment.
What would be the hope of being personally whole in a dismembered society, or personally healthy in a landscape scalped, scraped, eroded, and poisoned, or personally free in a land entirely controlled by the government [or corporations], or personally enlightened in an age illuminated only by TV? - Wendell Berry
