wings of magic chorus

The ornamentals have bloomed - in yards, along streets, sitting in trays outside P&R Produce - adding little dots of vibrant color to the brown and gray landscape surrounding Marion. I have tried to bring a little of that life into my apartment to replace the ferns that didn't make it through the winter.

Spring is fast becoming my favorite season of the year. Lows in the 30s, highs in the 60s and 70s, and those sunny days! I peak around the corner: Uwharrie has discovered my bed, nesting in the middle of my quilt. The bedroom window is wide open, blinds up, and my lace curtain is waving in the breeze.
