salt marsh @ shell mound

The next stop was Cedar Key for lunch and the Shell Mound to the north to see a salt marsh. Cedar Key has embraced tourism since I last visited over ten years ago. But all around it, the coasts are bare of development. We drove to the end of the road to get to the Shell Mound, and it literally ended in the ocean (the boat ramp).

This blog documents one organism's interactions with her environment.
