Day 65: Nailed in facia boards on the completed side, caulked dormer windows.

Trimmed the side wall

and exterior storage.

Day 64: Phyllis helped Matt and I stain and cut the lap siding around the windows.

We have finished siding on one wall by the end of the day. Thanks for your help, Phyllis!

Day 63: Kevin biked here from Marshall to work on our tiny house! I joined him for the last 14 miles into town.

He helped me stain, fit, nail, and caulk the bevel cedar siding.

Matt came to pick me up, Kate came to pick Kevin up, and we all had Thai for dinner.

Day 62: Nailed down shelving, nailed in soffit boards on back of house.

Ecology studies the interrelationship between organisms and their environment. It originates from the German word okologie, first used in 1873.

This blog documents one organism's interactions with her environment.
What would be the hope of being personally whole in a dismembered society, or personally healthy in a landscape scalped, scraped, eroded, and poisoned, or personally free in a land entirely controlled by the government [or corporations], or personally enlightened in an age illuminated only by TV? - Wendell Berry
