I haven't been very good about documenting my work as a teacher, but every once in a while, I'll remember that my Mac has a built in camera. This was a fun unit because it was so hands-on. When the students came to my class, there was a usually a collection of objects - nails, light bulbs, paper holes, magnets, batteries, wires - in the middle of their table for the day's demo or activity. And subsequently, it was hard to get their attention because my students couldn't help but mess with the objects.
We only have two weeks left of the ten-week holiday-less stretch to spring break. It has been a productive time in Physical Science as we hustle towards end-of-course exams. My life feels routine and narrow these days, and believe me, I have my qualms about that, but the end of the year is finally within sight, and with summer comes so many possibilities.
