boggle

I've finally gone around and picked out my favorite fish paintings of Mrs. Kirk's. I also noticed a little framed print on the stairwell named "Lily".

Thanksgiving was a lot of good food and company with the Kirks. I realize, though, that what I can't wait for is Christmas with my own mother and brother. I've been missing them, and I haven't been that great of a daughter/brother in calling frequently. Probably so with my friends, too.

In the roller-coaster ride of a teacher's year, I've hit the fall low spot. There are some frustrations at work, some trials in my relationship, some missing my friends and wondering where the new friends are to be found. Talking to Grant, he seems quieter, too. I'm looking for inspiration, I guess.

Ecology studies the interrelationship between organisms and their environment. It originates from the German word okologie, first used in 1873.

This blog documents one organism's interactions with her environment.
What would be the hope of being personally whole in a dismembered society, or personally healthy in a landscape scalped, scraped, eroded, and poisoned, or personally free in a land entirely controlled by the government [or corporations], or personally enlightened in an age illuminated only by TV? - Wendell Berry
