I had planned to send out this schedule to those parties involved, but I had to constantly revise it, and thus it was never finalized long enough to send out. But it does give you an idea of my life these days. I'm in one of those phases of constant go and less reflection (evident in the very few blog entries lately). I'm living out of my car again and driving a good deal through these $4/gal gas prices (but hey, if it's changing America's wasteful habits). I've gone through a couple phases of intense learning and note-taking, but it's also summertime. My closer friends are mostly overseas - Christen to Haiti, Liz to Israel, Jess to Niger, Ward to China - at the moment, while I've been spending the bulk of my time camping with a certain handsome boy and a certain happy dog in the nearby mountains.

Hopefully by the next time I post, I'll have found a place and started settling into a new area and school year. Yes, I'm teaching again! (And in a redesigned high school, which is very exciting.) It's a little over a month away, and I'm keeping a candle lit that everything will work out nicely to get us there.

Hi Lily,
What is Gen change training??

Ecology studies the interrelationship between organisms and their environment. It originates from the German word okologie, first used in 1873.

This blog documents one organism's interactions with her environment.
What would be the hope of being personally whole in a dismembered society, or personally healthy in a landscape scalped, scraped, eroded, and poisoned, or personally free in a land entirely controlled by the government [or corporations], or personally enlightened in an age illuminated only by TV? - Wendell Berry
