hiccup

The speakers pumped out R&B and rap, the sounds of our Hollandale students, into the night as Jess drove us home. I leaned my head towards the open window and lay my arm outside to feel the rush of air only felt from a vehicle moving fast on these windy mountain roads. And already, the trail seemed so far away....

In a flash, my break in West Virginia is over, and with newly-patched pockets on my pack (at the hands of the amazing M. Wysopal) and the guilt of emails still unanswered, I'm heading back.

Under 1000 miles to go! Blaze on!

Ecology studies the interrelationship between organisms and their environment. It originates from the German word okologie, first used in 1873.

This blog documents one organism's interactions with her environment.
