grrr

I admit I wasn't quite ready for this week. I got my papers graded Sunday, but not the lesson planning done. Still, I hadn't expected to be steam-rolled so - suddenly and decisively.

Somehow, I didn't realize I had ball game duty last Friday. I was chastised, and I have to make up for it with duty tomorrow night. Ball game duty on a weeknight means a never-ending day and leaves you completely drained. But due to a lack of forethought, I've got to come home and plan both Biology and Chemistry. If there's any indication this will be a rough week, it's only Monday night and I'm still up after midnight. :-P

I sketched out the rest of the year for Biology tonight, and it's got me panicking: I'm going to run out of time (hopelessly) before the state test. I better not get sick again, I have to run a tight ship, I have no room to move.

Last year, January was a less-stressful-than-usual month, too, due to having my shit together and renewed energy after the winter break. Then it all unraveled. Well, I think it's beginning to again.

I'm just mad at myself.

Ecology studies the interrelationship between organisms and their environment. It originates from the German word okologie, first used in 1873.

This blog documents one organism's interactions with her environment.
What would be the hope of being personally whole in a dismembered society, or personally healthy in a landscape scalped, scraped, eroded, and poisoned, or personally free in a land entirely controlled by the government [or corporations], or personally enlightened in an age illuminated only by TV? - Wendell Berry
